So, where are we at this bank holiday weekend? Well, we have our tendrils cast far and wide - to Castlepalooza in Co Offaly, the Patsy Farrell Festival in Westmeath, to Liss Ard, Indiependence and Clonakily Waterfront Festival in Cork. We hope to hear from the crew in Pat Shortts bar in Castlemartyr in Co Cork too, from the inaugural Kiltha River Festival.
Jump in folks - what else is going on where you are?
And above all - have a fab festival, welly boots and all! :)
The sun has finally broken through for us!!! Rooftop Anthem on the Indie main stage now
@Linda Plover Hiya Linda and welcome to the blog - how's the weather at Indiependence in Mitchelstown?
@Linda Plover Good news - long may it last :)
We remember well one of the first - it may even have been the very first - Liss Ard festival in West Cork. We were there! Nick Cave (Patti Smith - she waved to me from the stage, swear!), Michael Stipe, David Gray (he was HUGE then, and brought a tear to the eye, in a good way, in an acoustic set at the end of the night). Ah, the memories...

24hrs on and Castlepalooza is kickin'! Today has already seen some incredible performances from Roisin O, Shadowplay and Best Boy Grip.
