@Ewan I had Cork -3 when they met Kerry in Munster. That bet had value written all over it. However, if David Moran was available to kerry, they'd be much stronger
McGeeney wouldn't have broached the subject but he has a thing about how the media have gone on about it when it was Johnston himself who got the ball rolling.
@eoin okay... I'm just saying if my mine is on a card, I'm calling for the ball and getting lads out of my way so I have space to take him on over and over again. An inter-county championship game is 70 minutes long. It's not like soccer, where there's a real danger of there being no score in the entire game
You don't do Lucozade pressers, Ewan? That doesn't sound great.
Great draw for Kildare. @ home. & Limerick are beatable...then Sligo (if they win) and based on yesterday's respective performances they could very easily find themselves in an All-Ireland 1/4 final....
@John Well I nev
er have so never had chance to talk to Gooch!
Question regarding Johnston folks, and people saying it is now put to bed. Surely if people had a problem with him playing for another county, it's now a bigger problem as he's actually doing it so how is it put to bed
@Ewan That's what I thought but your first line may have been misconstrued.
If this is anything like the match it's going to a brawl. Let's move on to Seanie, that should simmer people down. What did ye make of him coming on against Cavan?
@John Ah, see that now, wasn't meant in that way.
Johnston should be just let get on with it now
Believe a huge Tyrone contingent will travel to Kerry but they'll need everyone of them. It'll be a cauldron.
@Ewan You sorted it anyway, no worries.
Can anyone tell me the last time that Kerry were not in the championship in August??
@Jamesie Know Philip Jordan made that point but Kerry gets the blood going.
were they knocked out by Down a couple of years back in July or August?
@Tim I questioned this Kerry team being presumed they can do 2009 when they don't have the same players with the will to turn it around and the same quality of players.
If people had a problem with Johnston before, they should have it every time he plays.
Don't think the Johnston story is over for the player. Looked to handle the comments by Cavan's players well yesterday but there is sure to be more coming his way. He can produce, no doubt about that.
@Cormac - agreed. However, Kildare in Newbridge should take the Treaty men and if I had to make a call between Sligo & Kildare - I would have to plum for Kildare....plus if they are facing Kevin & co they will be on the back of 2 good wins....and I don't see them being stopped.
