Feeling a bit deflated now, but I am sure Katie Taylor will lifts us all again.
Cian O'Connor is up in a few minutes in the showjumping. He is third to ride out of 46 competitors.
Just arrived at the ExCel - the entire venue is heaving with Irish. It looks like a deluge of Irish fans travelled directly from the Olympic Stadium to here.
@Peter Towe I'm the same. And the worst is that you'll have smart arses going around saying 'same old story'. But I'm just so disappointed for Annalise herself. We will be moving on to Katie but the pain will stay with Annalise for a lot longer.
Cian O'Connor is up next on Blue Loyd 12. First two riders have incurred penalties.
Here is Cian now. Come on!!
Three fences down gets him 12 penalty points that round.
Disaster for Cian, 12 faults. That will be the end of that then I'd imagine.
@Daragh Ó Conchúir Will have to wait and see with the other jumpers. Don't be ruling him out yet.
Annalise on RTE now, very emotional....
@Elmo_84 build a bridge man/woman. And once again, he was actually cleared of any wrongdoing himself. He has a completely unblemished record since then. He has the record appearances for Irish riders in Nations' Cup.
This is a terribly hard interview to watch. Poor Annalise. The tears are flowing. She is so brave. And more than that, she is so brilliant.
Annalise: "I am only 22, so I am going to work so hard for 2016"
Great words by show jumping analyst, Tom Freyne on Annalise. She is an inspiration. And soon, we're going to be watching another one.
Okay 10 minutes to Katie's big fight. Here come the nerves again....
Peter Taylor: "Pressure is if you find yourself in your family or someone close to you very ill." Katie's father puts her fight into perspective.
Cian O'Connor joint fifth at the moment in the show jumping.
Katie is quicker and stronger than Jonas. She has to be nailed on to win.
