It will be interesting to see if Fionnuala Britton has it in her legs to run a fast 5k after a testing 10k final where she couldn't go with the pace. She is definitely more suited to the longer distances. As ever, here's hoping she run to her standard, and wherever that takes her then.

Apart from boxing, our athletes are an embarassment to all of us. We have them crying, blaming injuries, going too fast, not being able to stay the pace, blah, blah, blag.

@speedy gonzalez A bit unfair. Caitriona Jenninhgs was injured during the women's marathon, but still completed it, Aileen Morisson had a fall off her bike in the triathlon and yet continued, Melanie Nocher was ill and still competed.
