09:00: Athletics - Men's 50km race walk final, Brendan Boyce, Colin Griffin and Rob Heffernan - finished 29th, disqualified and 4th respectively
09:47: Canoeing - Men's Canoe Single (C1) 200m 'B' final, Andrzej Jezierski - finished 1st, 9th overall
13:20: Modern Pentathlon - Swimming, Arthur Lannigan-O'Keeffe - finished 9th
17:00: Athletics - Women's 20km race walk final, Olive Loughnane and Laura Reynolds - finished 13th and 20th respectively
17:20: Modern Pentathlon - Riding, Arthur Lannigan-O'Keeffe - finished 19th
18:45: Modern Pentathlon - Combined Event, Arthur Lannigan-O'Keeffe - finished 25th overall
20:45: Boxing - Men's Bantam weight final, John Joe Nevin - won silver medal

"I'd have taken a bronze medal coming here but when I got to the final I wanted to go the whole way. I feel like a failure. I'm devastated. I'm heartbroken. I wanted to join the club with Michael Carruth and Kenny and Katie. Luke is a tremendous boxer."

Don't read too much into the failure comment lads. He's just lost. Paddy Barnes didn't want his bronze 4 years ago. Very happy to have it now.
