Grainne Murphy is up next in the 400m freestyle at 11:43.
A lot of today's action happens outside London - it's day two of the eventing, which has been underway for the past hour.
Eoin Rheinisch, who finished fourth in the K1 kayak in Beijing, is in heats action in the same event at the Lee Valley White Water Centre from 2:30.
Weymouth is the place to be for sailing, with headlines waiting to be written for Peter O'Leary and James Burrows who compete in the first two races of the Men's Star from 1:30.
It's back to dear old London Town for tonight's late action - Chloe Magee's first badminton group game sees her pairing with Egypt's Hadia Hosny at 8:15, while Enniscorthy's Bray BC welterweight Adam Nolan enters the fray at the last 32 stage as he meets Ecuadorian Carlos Sanchez Estacio. -

It's now raining quite heavily in London and some of it is getting through the roof. Some rain has landed on my desk and the journalist alongside me from Le Soir had to put his laptop away to save it. Meanwhile, Rob Walker is on a nearby TV screen reporting in basking sunshine at the canoeing. We can always swap...

Really really wanted to go to Wimbledon, but persuaded instead to go the canoeing - Kildare's Eoin Rheinisch led for a long time, but he's now fifth behind Samuel Hernanz, Mike "Mike" Kurt, Mateusz Polaczyk and Helmut Oblinger. Top 15 through to the semis, so Rheinisch even with one round of heats to go is fine and safe.
