Annalise is second at the moment behind Spain and just ahead of GB.

The 49ers finished 12th. They need a really strong finish in their next race. They did it yesterday.
Just round the first mark and Annalise is about 15 seconds ahead o GB in second.
Pardon the pun, but Annalise is cruising ahead in the Laser Radial. Way ahead of GB and Spain.
Annalise 40m ahead of GB in second with Denmark Portugal and Spain next.
Annalise has stretched her lead over GB to 55m now.
Annalise has gone around the second mark 25 seconds ahead of GB in second.
Mexico threatening GB in second. That won't worry Annalise tthough
Team GB catching up slightly as they come up to the third mark, but Annalise still comfortable.
What can I say, Annalise is still destroying the rest of the field who are fighting it out for second.

@Tazman Very good point there. Must also remember that the medal race is double points so you cannot afford to do badly in that.

BREAKING NEWS: The ladies doubles teams have been disqualified for trying not to win last night to secure a better draw. Lucky there weren't the same crowd running soccer when Ireland and Holland played out a draw in the 1990 World Cup!
Annalise Murphy "rocketing through the fleet" despite "unstable" wind. Saw her start, which was brutal but they were under threat of disqualification and she obviously took no chances. Watching now and she is just behind the leading pack of five and catching quickly. Go Annalise!!

Seaton/McGovern broke the start and were called back. Bit of a blow
