Hello and welcome to our coverage of the Republic of Ireland v Greece at the Aviva Stadium.
I’m at the Aviva stadium and it looks like it will be a very low crowd here tonight.
Putting that aside here are the line-ups!
Rep of Ireland v GREECE: Karnezis; Stafylidis, Papadopuolos, Tziolis, Samaras, Mitroglou, Torosidis, Tachtsidis, Ninis, Papastathopoulos, Cholevas.
REP OF IRELAND v Greece: Forde, Coleman, O'Shea(c), Clark, Ward, Brady, McCarthy, Whelan, McClean, Cox, Long.
As always we welcome your views on the game so please feel free to join in.
Teams are in the tunnel as John O'Shea and Celtic's Georgios Samaras lead out the sides.
UEFA President Michel Platini is here to present the family of James Nolan with the special merit award to Irish fans for their excellent behaviour at Euro 2012.
One late change as David Forde replaces Keiren Westwood in goals.
We are under way as Ireland attack the small end of Landsdowne Road.
Straight away the ref Eitan Shmuelevitz has failed to give what was a clear hand ball in the box by Stafylidis to give Ireland a penalty from a Ward cross. You will never see clearer penalty.
Again a second less clear shout for a penalty as Long is bundled over in the box. It was in the 'you've seen them given' category. 5 minutes gone here.
7' Good turn and shot by McClean goes just wide.
9' Ironic cheers as the ref gives Ireland a ref on the left hand side about 25 yards out from a clear push in the back to Cox.
10' First big chance of the night as a lovely one-two between Brady and Seamus Coleman led to Coleman whiping in a beautiful cross to an unmarked Cox in the centre of the goals but he couldn't connect properly and the ball spun wide.
Great start by Ireland it has to be said. Brady, Long and McClean all showing well and Ireland are actually knocking to ball around quite nicely. Not a long ball in sight ..... yet.
16' Great ball swung into the box with Brady with that cultured left boot of his but as Long rose to head he fouled the Keeper Karnezis in the process.
17' Good flick on from Long on the left broke to McClean who looked to cross it into the box only for it to deflect towards goal to give the keeper an worrying moment but he took it cleanly.
Stat coming up that you don't see often.
23' Good run for Ninis (Easiest of the Greek names to spell) leads to a stinger from 25 yards that tested stand in keeper Forde who did well to palm it out for a corner.
26' Greece have come into the game now, Ireland are finding it hard to gain possession as the Greeks are keeping it well but not really going anywhere
.
GOAL! Rep of Ireland 0 Greece 1 (Cholevas 29).
29' Some neat play around the Ireland box as Samaras played it into the path of Loint Cholevas who was given far too much room to turn by O'Shea and buried it into the bottom corner past a despairing Forde.
33' Ireland sub: Andrews on for a clearly injured Whelan.
36' Yellow card for Long for a late challenge on Tachtsidis.
37' Having recovered from the tackle by Long Tachtsidis hits a shot well wide from the edge of the box but was given far too much time again.
39' Brady looks to be limping as well.
Looks like its a hamstring problem for Glenn Whelan for those out there wondering.
41' Good work by Coleman to poach a free on the right Brady to swing it in with the left peg.
42' Nothing comes of it but from the ensuing break Clark flew in with a dangerous challenge which caused the Greek players to flying in with handbags. Clark was rightly yellow carded.
